as part of the Solution

The Montebello Firefighters Association is now in the process of working with the local businesses with what we consider to be the most important programs, many involving the youth in our community. Part of the purpose of the Association is to educate the public, improve community relations and participate in city projects and activities, all aimed at making our community a better, safer place to live.

Teaching safety to children is a very important part of saving lives. Protecting you and your family from fire is a tough and highly hazardous job. No community ever knows when fire may break out causing injury, destruction and loss of life. We always work with adults and children for a safe and secure environment in our community.

We are overcoming these challenges through education with our Disaster Preparedness/Fire Safety publication and by sponsoring both youth and adult organizations and programs. Please take a moment to consider the importance of these programs and remember what you do really does make a difference.
